1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Related technologies — local storage, session storage — do a similar job. This policy covers all of them.

2. Your choice, and how to change it

The first time you visit, a bar asks whether we may use analytics. Nothing non-essential runs until you answer, and choosing "Essential only" is a real option, not a delay before we ask again — we record the refusal and honour it.

Your answer is stored in your browser's local storage under mb-consent, not in a cookie. Storing "this person declined cookies" in a cookie would be a poor joke, and local storage is strictly necessary so it needs no permission of its own.

There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracking and no third-party tag manager on metabob.in, whichever option you pick. The only thing your consent controls is whether we can measure which pages get read and which get abandoned.

To change your mind, clear site data for metabob.in in your browser and the bar will appear again on your next visit.

3. What the application uses

Once you sign in to Metabob Studio, we use:

Strictly necessary cookies — to keep you signed in, to keep your session secure and to protect against cross-site request forgery. The service cannot work without these and they cannot be switched off.

Preference storage — to remember choices such as your default style family and aspect ratio, so you do not reset them every visit.

We also use error monitoring and aggregate product analytics inside the application, described in our Privacy policy. These are configured to measure usage, not to build an advertising profile of you.

4. Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in. Blocking preference storage will simply mean your settings reset each visit.

5. Changes

Any change to what we store will be reflected here, with the date at the top updated.
