Terms of service
The agreement between you and Metabob Private Limited — what you may do with the service, what you own, what we owe you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Metabob Private Limited. By creating an account or using Metabob you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that company.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Metabob.
2. The service
Metabob is a text-to-image generation service. You submit a prompt and settings; a model returns images.
What you are entitled to is what your plan includes, as set out on our pricing section at the time you subscribe. Descriptions elsewhere on this site are general information about the service, not a specification of your plan. We develop Metabob continuously, so individual features may change, be replaced or be withdrawn. If a change materially reduces what your plan provides, you may cancel under section 4 and we will not charge you for the period after cancellation takes effect.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the address below if you think it has been compromised. Give us accurate registration details and keep them current.
4. Plans, fees and taxes
Current plans and prices are on our pricing section. Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added at checkout.
Paid plans bill monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Generation allowances reset each billing period and do not carry over.
We may change prices. For existing subscribers a change takes effect at the next renewal, and we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.
5. Refunds
Because generation consumes compute the moment you use it, fees already charged are generally non-refundable. We will refund where the law requires it, and we will consider a pro-rata refund where the service was materially unavailable for a sustained period or where you were charged in error. Write to us and we will deal with it in good faith.
6. What you own
Your prompts stay yours. As between you and us, you retain all rights in the text you submit.
Your outputs are yours, subject to two things: you must have paid for a plan that grants the rights you are exercising, and you must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Specifically —
The Starter plan grants a licence for personal, non-commercial use only. The Creator and Business plans grant a licence for commercial use, including in advertising, on products and in client work. If you downgrade, the licence you held for images already generated under a paid plan continues for those images.
We do not claim ownership of your outputs and we do not resell them.
7. The limits of what we can promise about outputs
Generative models are probabilistic. Two users submitting similar prompts may receive similar images, and we cannot and do not warrant that any output is unique, that it is free of resemblance to existing works, or that using it will not infringe someone's rights in a given jurisdiction.
You are responsible for checking that your intended use is lawful — particularly for trademarks, the likeness of real people, and material that may be protected. This is an honest limitation of the technology, not a disclaimer we are hiding in the small print.
8. The licence you give us
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit and display your prompts and outputs only so far as is necessary to operate the service for you — to generate the image, show you your history, deliver your download, and run the safety screening described in our Privacy policy.
This licence does not permit us to train models on your content, publish it, or license it onward. It ends when you delete the content or close your account.
9. Acceptable use
Your use of Metabob is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Breaching it is a breach of this agreement.
10. Availability
We aim to keep Metabob available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-service plans, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a service level we cannot yet stand behind. Business-plan customers can agree service levels with us in writing.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Metabob and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is being used unlawfully, or where we are required to by law. Where it is safe and lawful to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. For serious breaches — the prohibitions in section 1 of the Acceptable Use Policy — suspension may be immediate and without notice.
On termination your licence to use the service ends. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive.
12. Disclaimers
Except as these terms expressly state, and to the extent the law allows, Metabob is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that outputs will meet your requirements.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹10,000.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or from your use of an output in a way that infringes someone's rights.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a revised date, and for material changes we will give notice by email or in the application before they take effect. Continuing to use Metabob after that means you accept the change.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, save that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
